The morning had gone as it usually does. Ignacius would awake, perform his daily morning ritual of cleaning himself up and find something to break his fast. It is after this that the warrior of Lunarisclan would gather his gear and head out to do his duties. Ignacius hadn't gotten far before he was waylaid by a fellow clan mate. Ignacius was informed that he was to be assigned a partner. It was an odd order but he didn't question it. To do so would require him to seek out their leader but it seemed like a tedious task to do when his objections would more than likely be suppressed. Instead he'll just take the partner, and a leap of faith. Ignacius inquired to the clan mate of whom he'd be partnered with. He hadn't a clue, wished Ignacius luck and moved off to deliver more messages. The redheaded warrior watched the man leave and slowly shook his head.
Resigned to his new task, Ignacius turned to continue walking. He didn't get far before he stopped and covered his face with his hand. He had forgotten to ask where he'd be meeting this new partner. Ignacius turned around, intending to go after the messenger and was met with out the bustling of other clan members. He stared ahead blankly, slightly annoyed that he was not only going into this blind but now lost too. Shaking his head again, Ignacius groaned and turned back around before he ambled on. Maybe he could just walk until someone recognized him. Hopefully this partner of his was informed of who he would be, then maybe they could intercept him. As he walked, Ignacius idly straightened his tunic and the various leather straps adorning his body. One cinched the tunic at his waist, while a couple hung from that belt. Another crossed over his chest, as a sort of baldric, to hold up his stowed weapon.
It didn't him long before he reached the edge of the camp. This was usually where he went to start things off, amongst other warriors. It was possible his new partner was around here someplace. Or not, and he was just wasting his time. Speaking of, he probably was wasting his time. For all he knew, that guy was pulling a prank on him. If that was the case, he was in for a world of pain once Ignacius found him. He wasn't one for hurting another clan mate but he didn't like to be messed with. Ah, he didn't know what he'd do anyways. He was used to working alone. A partner would mean a conversation or two all the time and he was a man of few words, preferring silence or a short reply in response.

'Leader sure is acting strange lately.' Kira thought with a lifted eyebrow, not that she minded anyhow. Lunarisclan was always known for being true to its roots, generally the reason why most members were born in-clan.
DaiFuyu had been getting members of all classes to pair up and act collaboratively. This did not bother Kira herself however.... A shiver snaked through her person thinking about Ookami's reaction. That lone wolf would never work with anyone.
KiraSune was assigned to Ignacius, the one person she'd rarely seen around camp. It was strange, how the two belonged to the same clan and have yet to speak to each other. Maybe this was the reason behind Leader's decision to pair the two up.
Caught up in her thoughts, Kira arrived at the edge of the camp. "I wandered again." She grumbled, low enough for only her ears to catch, "I really need to stop that." A flash of red was seen in her peripheral, she turned to see none other than Ignacius himself. What a lucky day!
"Hey!" She called out, a bright welcoming smile stretched across her lips, "Ignacius! Nice to meet you, I'm KiraSune, your partner starting from today!"
Idling at the edge of camp, Ignacius had half a mind to just go in search of the not-so-funny messenger. It had to have been a trick of some kind. It was exactly the type of thing he would do, especially to Ignacius. Since he hardly talked to anyone unless the situation called for it, he was one of the few cut off from others that it would be monumentally easier to trick. Another was that extremely loner guy, even more so than Ignacius himself but he couldn't place the guy's name. With a shrug, he hoisted his pack up further and turned, prepared to just head out on his own. Ignacius could do pretty well by himself, doing so for the past few years. His size and natural abilities gave him an edge, not to mention that gift he had. So why did the leader think he needed a partner? Either he was being singled out or everybody had to do it. Hopefully it was the latter, he didn't want to be the talk of camp because he had to pair up with somebody. Deep in his thoughts, a loud voice brought him back to reality and he turned to look over his shoulder at the source. To his surprise, someone was addressing him.
"KiraSune?" What do ya know, one of the few people he's hardly seen around camp. Go figure. "Nice to meet you too."
His gaze looked her up and down a couple of times, gauging how fit she appeared to be, among other things. He wouldn't want a partner that would impede or slow him down. She appeared to be athletically in shape, so points for her. He supposed if he had to be partnered with somebody, she would have to do. It was then that he realized he was hardcore staring at her body. He wasn't actually looking or anything, as he was just deep in thought. However, from her perspective and anyone else, he could of been leering. With as much dignity as he had left, Ignacius glanced up at her face then looked away under the guise of scanning the surroundings. Following that, he cleared his throat.
"Are we supposed to do anything or just patrol?" Yeah, play it off. Things can't get awkward. Hopefully not.

After he greeted her, KiraSune stood there thinking of what to say. She'd never met him before, at least not on a personal level. After immersing in her thoughts, she finally noticed his eyes gazing down at her form. He looked as though he were ogling her.
Suddenly uncomfortable underneath his stare, she brought her voluminous hair to the front as inconspicuous as possible to hide herself. Sure the hair only covered so much but it made her feel better. If he were staring at her muscles, that would have been fine but KiraSune had never been ogled at before.
She cleared her throat at the same time his eyes snapped back and he tried to divert the uncomfortable mood to a more general topic.
"I don't know." Kira answered honestly, deciding to put the now past awkward moment behind them, "Since Solarisclan has been staying out of our hair, I suppose we are meant to patrol and maybe catch kill along the way?" The two clans were currently not at war with each other, and it has been that way for many years. The war was still leaving a bad taste on a few clan member's tongues.
She did seem to be somewhat uncomfortable with his accidental staring. Thankfully it was easy enough to get past. She didn't know what they were supposed to do either. That neither confirmed nor denied his suspicions about this whole ordeal. Of course he could just ask her but that wasn't his way. He'd rather figure things out for himself than go to others. It was probably from his choice of independence. It was evident that now that his independence was at and end, as he had a partner now. Whether or not it was a temporary or permanent thing, Ignacius would have to put his best foot forwards and make the best of it. Ignacius looked back at KiraSune before he spoke.
"Okay. Do you want the lead?"
He wasn't much of a team player. With little to no experience with it. Maybe she knew how to handle the whole group thing because she sure didn't. The last thing he needed was to screw this whole thing up. Yeah, then he would be the talk of the camp. Just another reason to stay in his tent. Anyways, since he wasn't really up to it, she could have the reins. If she didn't take them, ladies first could always help. It probably won't work in this situation. He'd try it anyway, not like it could get any more awkward than it had before.

Her eyes wandered over to the edge of the cave, "Sure, I don't mind." She laughed, "I actually don't know what we are meant to do since Leader didn't specify so let's just go with the flow of things. Alright?"
She made her way towards the cave exits, past the sleeping quarters and into a nearby cave. This cave extended into a sort of cave styled meeting room. This area was quite spacious and served as the home to several rodents and animals such as wolves. Dark wolves were hunted for meat and yet white wolves were considered sacred, a side of the Lunar goddess.
KiraSune prevented her mind from extending to that territory. Her less enthusiastic faith about the goddess was alarming and something she preferred not to discuss.
"Since the clan needs more food, how about we hunt a little and patrol during the nighttime?" Kira's eyes squinted in the dark, trying to adjust to the darkness. Judging from her internal clock, it was an hour past sun up. That gave them several hours to hunt for food and then go patrolling.
"Ready to hunt some wolves?" She asked quietly, making sure her voice didn't echo. "I remember Leader stating that wolves hunted in medium sized packs however these hunt in small sized packs which should make our job easier."
From the sash around her hips, she pulled a long and thin sword. Kira had always preferred speed and this was perfect for her. "Any weapons?"
Ignacius felt somewhat relieved that she would take the lead without complaint. She too was in the dark about their predicament, so that made him feel slightly better. He followed her as she moved away, heading towards some destination, he wasn't sure yet. Ignacius finally noticed the gap in their height and wondered why he hadn't seen it before. It wasn't a problem but just minor information that he would think on in the absence of other thoughts. Then again, he was big for his age, so maybe he was the weird one for being so tall. He momentarily grimaced at that and shrugged it off. If he thought about it too much, then things might get weirder. By following her on instinct, he hadn't paid attention to where they were going until they had reached the destination. Caves. It wasn't his first choice but it would do. Anything to keep his body moving and muscles working.
"That's fine." He said in response to her first question.
It had been awhile since he last hunted anything in the caves. It would definitely be a renewed experience for him. As per her second question, he simply nodded. He woke up ready this morning. He remembered meeting a pretentious man saying he had been born ready. He didn't last long in a fight, so perhaps he had been mistaken. Pushing those idle thoughts down, he soaked in the information KiraSune gave about the wolves, already thinking about what he'd do. In the midst of his strategizing, a movement of hers caught his eye and saw her drawing her weapon. It was an awfully small piece of weaponry. Then again, his weapons would be considered small but quite deadly in his hands. Ignacius pulled from behind is belt a pair of metallic gauntlets and slipped them onto his hands, flexing his fingers into fists multiple times. His actual weapon was a large hammer-like mace but it was damaged and was being repaired, so the gauntlets would do. He hoped the donning of the gauntlets would serve enough as an answer.

She watched him take out a pair of gauntlets, it surprised her. Judging from his body size, she assumed he would carry around a large weapon. Many hated gauntlets, it meant one had to get as close as possible to an enemy, a fatal mistake for many warriors.
Kira's eyes wandered over to a nearby cave, a shuffling sound met her ears; it was followed by many more. She looked over at Ignacius in confirmation then back at the sounds which were quickly approaching. Two black wolves with glowing red eyes appeared from a high ledge, they both howled which caused Kira to cringe.
"That's great, they're calling for families and friends." She muttered softly enough for her companion to hear, "We should finish them quickly."
The two wolves simply sat on the ledge, looking down at the two warriors with drool slipping down their muzzle as they growled. Kira set her left foot back and bolted forward, she sped up the wall and stopped above the wolf's heads. With a well placed kick, she sent both down the ledge and proceeded to land with a medium thud. Both wolves rolled over and shook the dirt off their pelt before snarling at the two warriors. Now the wolves were in between the two warriors, each bolted towards their respective target.
Kira dodged her attacker's bit by sliding to the left and swinging her thin sword across its back, the wolf whined and took a few steps back. She could see the faint traces of blood beneath its pelt, it dripped slowly down to the cave floor.
The wolf, in anger, lunged again but was met with a kick underneath its muzzle. The kick managed to flip him backwards, the animal landed on its back with Kira's foot pressed strategically on its throat. If left here, the wolf would not be able to move anything other than its fore-paws. The animal thrashed and snarled, it tried to land a bite on her foot but failed. The wolf could not reach its target. Deciding to end the poor animal's life, Kira quickly perforated its left chest cavity with her sword. It went straight through and the thrashing slowly stilled.
Kira took her foot off of him then kneeled beside her catch. She closed its eyes with her hand, as a sign of thanks to the goddess for providing the clan with such food. Now that Kira was finished with her own burden, she looked over at Ignacius to watch his style of fighting. Naturally wanting to work cooperatively, Kira wanted to learn his fighting style and see how the two could put them together in a more effective manner. Going to battle without knowing your companion's fighting style was fatal, hence why she decided to part ways with him in this particular battle.
