[break][break]A tall drink of mercury measuring in at 6 feet tall and 160 pounds, Sergio is every bit as athletically-built as the numbers might indicate, potentially even moreso. For the longest time, he has only entrusted the cutting of his hair to himself. The hair style of choice, a sweeping silver fringe emerging from soft spikes, is remarkably consistent and Sergio doesn't start his day without making sure of its proper appearance. The monochromatic outfit of his has both form and function advantages in that it will always match his natural looks and it provides superior mobility and aerodynamics; anything besides clean monochrome garments, as he'll glibly tell you, is 'fashion-mismatch-malfunction-waiting to-happen-bullshit'. If asked about the number 2 always visible on his top, his official explanation is that 'it reminds others I'm second to none'. Others might suggest the number is present specifically because, in a previous and now-believed-to-be-dormant outfit, he was second to a select few other members in terms of pecking order.

[break][break]Chatty and complimentary, Sergio enjoys the nuances of conversation, though his backhanded, acerbic remarks can irritate those he speaks with. He can be heard proclaiming admiration for some he encounters while simultaneously speaking so plainly or candidly that those listening may wonder if he enjoys carrying around metaphorical axes to grind unknowingly, or knowingly. Facetiousness and glibness are two of his favorite and easiest suits to wear; people who meet him unaware of this fact are quick to catch on. To the clever and keen-eyed, the rough-diamond takeaway from his abrasive conversational skills is that he rarely leaves room for dishonesty in his demeanor, preferring candor to cloak-and-dagger nine times out of ten. Deceit has a place, make no mistake, when it truly and clearly provides a benefit to him. Convinced he knows everything he'll, more or less, ever need to know, Sergio has adapted to living along 'the flow', following those he finds interesting or challenging. Devoted to his pursuit of cleverness everlasting, the bonds he forges can be just as steel-strong as they can be razor-thin; it generally depends on both day and mood, as well as sometimes the individual in question. The quickest way to his sincerest thoughts is generally by picking at his abilities as a warrior or his 'universe-spanning' knowledge; such barbs receive prompt responses. Though he'll exchange sarcastic retorts all day, Sergio is not quick to anger or violence at all and, in fact, is quite appreciative of efficiency in many regards including combat and conversation.

[break][break]A standout prospect to be one of Maelstromclan's best warriors since the age of five, Sergio quickly tore through the usual apprenticeship cycle and became a fully-fledged defender of the clan. Unlike those who took up bows or swords, he preferred kickboxing, going so far as to learn how to disarm his sparring partners with a lightning-fast first step; though, if asked, he'd never say that disarming techniques 'evened things' as his presence alone, he felt, would do that. At the age of fourteen, he was already a master fighter and tactician among the Western Clans, though his strategic prowess was often kept to himself for fear of 'wasting brilliance best saved for life-or-death matters on relatively unimportant clashes and skirmishes'. And then Sergio discovered his innate power. A natural mastery over gravity allows him to make any battlefield his own; with the flick of some cosmic switch, he can alter the effectiveness of gravity on himself, on others, or on his surroundings. While a battleground full of floating rocks and foes alike seems unimpressive or even unthreatening, Sergio, within one day of awakening his talents, knew just how to augment his fighting tactics with this new penchant for gravity, zero gravity, and even anti-gravity. Using his knowledge of striking and speed, he can zip around, launching objects usually rooted firmly into the ground at helplessly floating enemies for devastating effects. When opponents who think themselves cunning try to land an unbalancing or disorienting attack on Sergio before the zero gravity has fully kicked in, they're often disappointed to find that either he has let himself remain under normal gravity or that he's so experienced with motion in zero-gravity settings that he simply rights himself in the same amount of time it takes to breathe. His kicks, dives, and tackles hit like meteor strikes, seemingly able to appear from almost any angle at any time, while the reduced or removed gravity makes the impact all the more destructive and felt; this is to say nothing of what incredible velocities a launched object of his can reach before obliterating its target. Sergio had distilled all of this down to a science upon turning sixteen. At that point, just starting to discover the repulsion powers of anti-gravity, he suddenly left the Maelstromclan village along with a few others to follow Kirai. Asked nervously by his now-former compatriots about his reasons for taking the side of someone like him, Sergio simply responded by saying Kirai seemed like the right horse to back in a race to meet new challenges; it manifested as just another instance of living with the flow, for somebody who had little left to learn, in their own estimation. Whether or not he truly cared for Kirai's causes or not is an unsolved mystery, but his place among the powerful few brought along with Kirai is without question. In the ten or so years he's spent away from any clan, he's perfected his craft and integrated anti-gravity seamlessly into his suite of destruction and force. Most days, Sergio spends his time exercising or kicking around boulders as if they were 'hacky sacks'. The long time spent in hiding has felt immensely counter-productive, leaving him viciously bored and chatty.
