Ookami wasn't making much progress getting back to Lunarisclan. The mender was pacing between the rocky cavern entrance to the small growth of seedlings closer to Solarisclan. His mind elsewhere and yet here. Something was odd. Especially after his conversation with the wanderer from before.
Flashes of memories that were certainly not his kept passing by. Each of them coming with a pounding headache. He couldn't even focus long enough to concoct a medicine for this pain.
Yuuka. That's the only thing that made sense at the moment. Or did it?
From his pouch, he pulled out a flask that he usually kept water in and emptied it. It didn't help.

Work practically doubled overnight from when the fae last saw the mender. When the deputy was uncovered, dead, plans and safety measures went into effect to prepare for battle. As menders weren't as common as they used due to the lasting peace, she was kept busy at every corner, even in her condition.
When she had finally burnt out, there was only one place to return to...
Somehow or another, she knew exactly where to find the mender. Arms outstretched as she walked forward, zombie-like, falling into him as she called his nickname.
"Ookami-Crow-kun!"
Smile on her face was faint as Yuuki remained silent and without a trace. So much of her energy had been used up that night, the fairy was there in his presence completely.

His head was still pounding when Yuuka approached. In fact, it was worsening. Pale hands wrapped around the fae's wrist, tightening unbeknownst to him. Memories not his passing by in an incomprehensible manner. A bright room full of red eyes, fancy clothing and drinks. A much smaller Yuuka passing around with drinks. It all made no sense. He'd never seen clothing like that.
The mender didn't reply, only kept a tight grasp on the fae's wrist. The pounding was lessening the more sights passed by.

Staying put, she winced as Ookami clutched her wrists and tightened the hold. Eyes deep and lost with color gazed up and searched his face, given no words for answers.
"Crow-kun. Crow-kun."
She repeated, swinging her arms slightly. The longer he kept his hold, the more painful for her it would become.
"Crow-kun. Crow-kun! What, how come?"

Ookami was rigid, his whole posture just stiff. Until suddenly, it's as if his eyes were finally focusing on Yuuka's expression. An expression that was clearly showing pain. His eyes looked down to his own hand, so tight around her wrist that it was going paler. He instantly let go.
"I'm sorry..." he mumbled, rubbing her wrist to get blood flow going through. His headache was lessening to a dull thudding. The mender finally took note of his surroundings, "what are you doing here?"

Relief washed over her as he let go, the fairy receding back as she gazed up at him. Strangely, he was more occupied in his own thoughts than she was, as if their moments of clarity switched. She felt concerned, yet opted to still answer his question.
"Tired. Clan's so, so busy. Better with you. Do you not want me?"
Perhaps the longest sentences she had spoken in ages of her own accord, she hardly hesitated putting it all together when she spoke to the vampire.

Ookami looked at her for a moment, "Well yes."
Embarrassment practically flooded his mind, "Not in an inappropri-" The mender sighed, "Never mind"
Ookami composed himself, seems as though the interaction calmed his pain somewhat. He chuckled and crossed his legs, motioned towards Yuuka to sit as well.
