 One after another, plates were passed back and forth between clan members and the Crafter's short staff-- Even in combination with Solarisclan. The bookworm hadn't openly volunteered for the position as chef, but after being pestered by his clanmates, he surrendered. Sure, he had taken on cooking as a hobby, but not once had he stopped to notice the many hungry mouths frequenting him for a free meal. Drizzling sauce over his latest dish, he handed it over to the last greedy consumer in line. His latest pot hadn't yet began to boil, giving him a moment's rest. Utilizing his time, he tossed spices down and into the stockpot, transforming its odd aroma into one much more mouth-watering. Several times he glanced down at book, seemingly stained and practically illegible due to its handwriting. Yet he read it with precision, flipping pages back and forth as he followed instructions listed. His next batch would be second to last of food he had personally contributed for the festival, gone much too quickly. Disappointment laced with stress pulled unwanted wrinkles to his features, the Crafter left as the only one still on duty. |

The Solstice Festival, for Arisa, was perhaps the most exciting event she had been to in her life. The Amane clan had strictly forbidden her from going to the festival due to their incredible desire to remain in the shadows, so this would mark the first time she saw so many people conglomerated together in harmony. She didn't even know that Lunarisclan and Solarisclan would be willing to willing to come together for such a professionally done event. Very impressive.
But the awe of the party quickly wore on her as she realized she hadn't eaten food yet that day. Her stomach growled, and in the distance, she could smell a curious smell. She dashed to Lavon in search of food.
"Food?" She asked him. "I smell yummies." |

 "Too soon." Chef mumbled, somehow expecting her to hear it. Leaving the comforts of his recipe book, he started to ready the next plate. After all, being mobbed for food, the singular chef could only do so much. "Is capellini fine? Nothing else is ready."Spooning up some of the pasta, he tossed it back into the pot before sliding back to strain out the water. With the sauce kept at a simmer, he fitted the young ninja a plate of "yummies" and elegantly circled sauce atop it. For the sake of preciseness, he added meatballs as well, completing the dish as he slid it the huntress's way. |

"Whatever you have is fine, man," she mused waiting frantically for the food. Thinking back, Arisa recalled she had eaten nothing in days, save a piece of bread. Her mouth watered and tears surfaced at her eyes as she stared at the food before her. "Meatballs too? Damn, you guys are going all out," she told him grabbing the plate and beginning to eat.
"Holy-" she stopped herself gulping down her first bite. "This is amazing. What's your name, chef? Can I get an autograph?" |

Korosu hovered nearby, drawn by the enticing smells. He watched each plate of food with caution, choosing to believe the meals were safe despite his foul memories.
"Hello," He began, brushing past Arisa and approaching Lavon, "You have made some marvelous dishes, or so I've heard." Holding back pestering questions of where the food had been harvested, he sat down at a nearby table.
"What's in the Capellini?" He asked, trying to sound more curious than rude.

 "Erm, thank you?"With the sudden fawning over his food, Crafter reeled back, his search for a pen only revealing his wooden spoon. Not much he could sign with, unless he used the sauce-- what a waste. Though his thoughts lied contentment from praise, the slight brightening of his expression hinted so. Shifting his attention slightly to the second Solarisclan Hunter to approach him, he took the compliment there, as well. "Wel--"Realizing his initial thought was not one to put into words so publicly, ( Well-cooked person) he fixed his statement, blending a light cough to mask the hiccup. "Welkinclan imported."Allowing the gag to sit for a moment while he readied the other's plate, he smirked to himself before bringing his attention back to the two of them. "Joking. Made none other than from scratch as a secret recipe of my own tireless crafting. De chef à vous, profitez-en."Dinner's served. |
