Amongst her clan mates, she's known was being caring, sweet and downright frightening when she needs to be. When opportunity rises, KiraSune always tries to better things even if others around her suffer from fatigue because of it. She's been known for being a workaholic and tends to push her apprentices to the limit. Most clan members can testify that KiraSune is very impulsive and forgets to think things through. This usually ends in her misunderstanding a situation or making things worse from time to time. Everyone knows, despite the things she does, KiraSune does it in good faith. She is very athletic and takes pride in exercising often, you can find her jogging before sunup around the mountain. KiraSune is also a very hygienic person, one of the many reasons why her hair is as long as it is.

The conditions of her birth were dangerous, as war broke out, the mountain caves were no longer safe. Without the proper materials usually given during birth, KiraSune was struck with fever and infections throughout the war. Many foretold the child would become a warrior because of her fighting instinct. Several warriors realized that even as a child, she was fighting a war for her life.
As she grew up, KiraSune had the misfortune of having a low immune system. She worked hard and due to the fear of infections, Mami became a sort of 'clean freak.' Her body needed to be pushed to its limits for her to stay healthy. She became a warrior for her clan at a younger age than usual. KiraSune prefers the battlefield but when one is unavailable, she tends to roam around the mountain and no man's land to fend for her clan.
