Hakon smiled and took Amora's hand in a trusting, affectionate way. Meanwhile, Cedwyn had turned his chin up and narrowed his eyes.
"That is correct, you must be approved by our leader before you're allowed to visit." The grown neko stepped past them, giving Hakon a quiet and an encouraging "Well done." as he did.
"Come along then, Miss Takayama, Mister Kolbeck." Cedwyn urged, gesturing them both to get walking in front of him. He knew it was always a good idea to keep close eyes on a vulpine.
Hakon nodded obediently and pulled the girl along. "Let's go!"

Such sticklers for rules.
She silently complained, shivering from the cold of rain. Gripped onto his hand, she squeezed it as she kept pace with him, readying her first and harmless prank: a small vile of glitter tucked away behind her bow. Obtained by traveling traders, it was a concoction that was nearly impossible to remove entirely from one's person, even through rain. The perfect product for a prank.
"Does he not like games or something? Because I really know a whole bunch of different kinda tag games to play. And we can still go to wherever it is we need to."
With a jump to each step, she tried to reach his ear to whisper her concerns-- pulling him down some to meet her efforts.

Cedwyn's ear flicked forward, watching the two kits and rolling his eyes as the little vixen's whispers caught on the wind.
Hakon looked down at Amora with a disapproving but playful smile. "Cedwyn is here, we mustn't fool around now." There would surely be time for it later.
As they marched onwards through the mud, it wasn't long before the overhanging branches gradually appeared neatly braided with beads and feathers. Wooden chimes could be heard tapping their gentle songs in the rainfall. Pulling a curtain of ivy back, Hakon gestured for Amora to enter.
Inside was Galeclan, not so unlike it is today, with wooden multistory homes and bridges and gardens and, looming over it all, the Hollow.
The tiny village was fairly quiet, as it usually was during rainstorms.
"Come." Cedwyn said, brushing past the kits and leading them to the grand tower, where everyone could be expected to be taking shelter.

Lavender irises looked up and up until raindrops hit them, forcing her to lower her head and wipe them away from her eyes. The Hollow was enormous, to which she wondered how she missed it from all her time wandering amongst the trees.
Quickly, however, she pranced alongside Hakon, splashing up puddles as she did so. Although the kit couldn't fool around, that hadn't meant she wasn't able to. Foolish play was in her nature-- and the joy of the mundane was clear on her face should either of the two care to see it.
Her playful confidence faltered only once as the trio entered the mighty Hollow. While they were covered in the scent of the wet and murky outdoors, the stranger's smell was still strong enough that all the cat's eyes on the first tier followed her. A few smaller, braver kits seemed to curiously crawl up to her, sniffing, brushing against her as they learned her scent before being dragged away by their elders.
"Aww, I don't bite." Keeping her composure, she followed wherever the two led her-- but not without counting the heads of those she passed, imagining some sort of grand tag for them to play.
