An End Worthy of Remembrance, a Beginning to Try and Forget

Aki smiled at her. He wasn't sure how to respond to such kindly thinking. "Well, I'll absolutely have to see your dancing. And hear Bleu's singing (Bleu smiled at the ground shyly). When I bring your mother to you, she'll know what to do."
He began to think hard as the darkness around them settled in.
"I think I should leave for her now. I don't want to bring the both of you too close to the camps and she must be told right away. I'm sure she doesn't know what happened..." His bones ached at the thought of telling her. "Will you stay here and look after eachother?" 

 Bleu looked alarmed at the idea of Akihito leaving, but he nodded firmly. "Mother must be with us at last."
