[Closed] Free Time

Silence followed most of the trek into Solarisclan territory, trees eventually coming to surround them entirely with shade overhead enough to have one wonder if the sun would soon set. Setting one hand to his forehead, auburn irises searched up, then around the trunk of a tree. Moving shrubs away, vines revealed a passage upwards, carved stubs in the bark for one's footing.

"Clan leader should be right up there for ya. No second thoughts?"

He'd follow behind Korosu on his trip upwards if he chose to do so, of course. He'd be the one to meet Yomi first, given how unexpected it was.

Snrrrrk.

Surprisingly enough, he didn't see the question coming. The answer, surely, but not the question.

Raising a finger, he pointed to the treetops far beyond the eyes could see, trees that would rival the mighty redwoods. If you squinted hard enough, the decorations became only that, and the camouflage became known.

"Hope you're not afraid of heights."

Show, don't tell. Korosu wouldn't really an answer from him, as the hint he gave spoke all. The face anyone gave upon the clan's discovery was magic all on its own.

"Yeah. Spans all throughout the west hillside."

Following behind him until they had reached the above platform, it was only thick enough for a person and a half to stand side by side: building on one side, descent on the other.

"Wait here and I'll talk to her. It'll just be a minute."

Giving three knocks on the wooden door, he entered without awaiting a response, shutting the door behind him. Time passed, but only seconds. A minute, maybe, before the Warrior exited and held the door open for Wanderer. Inside, the leader sat at a desk, feather in hand and leather outstretched, with a bottle of ink to her left. The glare directed at Maware was intense, but he smiled and waved it off as he motioned Korosu inside.

"She heard the rundown. Good luck!"

Door silently shut behind him, leaving the two of them alone. Of course, Maware remained in wait on the other side, as seen by the slight shadow protruding from under the door.

Leader's glare lightened in intensity, though replaced with dead, uninterested eyes. Featherpen was twirled once before being set down, opting to stand for the stranger.
Not that it mattered much; she wasn't nearly tall enough to make a direct line of sight.

"Korosu, was it? I respect my thick-headed Deputy's proposal, but he tends not to read very far into anything... He said you're unarmed?"

Violet colored eyes fluttered over their flowery surroundings, if only for a moment. She agreed with him, knowing full-well a life lived elsewhere.

"We take pride in our master craftsmen for making it at all possible."

Finger slid atop wooden frame to the chair; a perfect example of their work played into creating their own utopia.

"So other than an extra mouth to feed, what is your worth?"

Lightly tapping the rim of the chair, a hint of her annoyance of his character. Her disinterest grew more focused, however, as violets scanned over him. 

"Yes, one word is all it takes either way."

The edges of her mouth curled into the base of a smile, yet her tone remained the same.

"Have you any keepsakes of your life before, clan-life or otherwise?"

"So I see."

Glossing over the ring, the words were stated matter-of-factually before she moved on. Relaxing her form ever so slightly, decision was henceforth spoken.

"Then I needn't explain how our clan is akin to a family; although our clan may be very different than the one you once lived within.
In any case, you may join us: however, as only an apprentice until our head-of Hunters approves of your work and adjustments made here. Since Maware personally asked for your addition, he'll figure about your temporary housing and so forth. Do you have any concerns?"
